Twitter says it is taking action against “trolls” that “distort and detract from the public conversation”, by making their tweets less visible. Twitter has began blocking cryptocurrency-related ads. The move follows other social media platforms like Reddit back in 2016, and more recently, Facebook and Google, which have already banned cryptocurrency ads. “We are committed to ensuring the safety of the Twitter community. A report shows that Facebook is for old people as teens and young adults are ditching the social network while the over 55s are joining.
