Old Windows malware may have tampered with 132 Android apps

Google has removed 132 apps from its Play store following a malicious coding flaw that was found possibly because the developers were using infected computers with malware, according to security researchers. The 132 apps were found generating hidden iframes, or an HTML document embedded inside a webpage, linking to two domains that have hosted malware, according to security firm Palo Alto Networks. Microsoft previously let us know that a range of its OEM partners with familiar names from the PC world would be building headsets that offer mixed reality experiences on Windows 10 hardware. Microsoft is currently testing a new functionality in Windows 10 that prevents you from installing any desktop apps – unless they come from the official store. Samsung has introduced a couple of new devices running Windows 10. The company introduced its new Galaxy Book which comes with two different devices: the Galaxy Book 10 and the Galaxy Book 12. Samsung’s new Galaxy-Book family can be taken as a successor to last year’s Galaxy TabPro S line, as the new devices pack similar features and design. European Union data protection authorities continue to have windows 10 privacy-related concerns, despite microsoft’s efforts to make some tweaks to privacy settings for users of the OS after raised criticism and concerns last year.
