“We’re excited to launch our Youth Portal, a central place for teens to fellow teens in their own voices, about the issues that matter to them online. The portal will also educate them on security, reporting content, and deciding who can see what you share,” said Antigone Davis, Global Head of Safety and Karuna Nain, Global Policy Programs Manager at Facebook in a press statement.

The portal will also serve as an advice giver seeing as it will let the teens know what to do when they need a social media break, and some guidelines for how to get the most out of the internet.

With Facebook’ s recent debacle on user data, the company has also ensured that the iGens are taken care of  by introducing information on the types of data Facebook collects and how it use it.

The portal is available in 60 languages at facebook.com/safety/youth
