Microsoft Unveils Microsoft 365 With AI + Cloud-Powered Features

Microsoft 365

Microsoft will be launching it’s new Microsoft personal together with family subscriptions to replace the current office 365. The plan will be available as of 1st April 2020. Both the personal and family option will include access to office alongside other new features that will be rolled out.

The personal plan will be retail at $6.99 and $9.99 monthly subscriptions for the family package of up to six persons. Both plans will include everything in the office 365 including desktop office apps.  1TB of Onedrive cloud storage per person, 60 Skype minutes, security features. Additional technical support, plus the new Office features also announced today.

Those features are spread across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams. If you’re already an Office 365 subscriber, you will learn that Microsoft is adding a lot of Office-related features with this transition to Microsoft 365.

Users will soon be able to access the existing Editor feature of Word. Which is more of an advanced proofing service than the regular grammar and spellcheck features.  The editor improves your writing by flagging words used too frequently. Or alternatively, teach you phrases to improve your writing style.

Microsoft 365 subscribers will get access to more advanced grammar and style guides, including a rewrite option that offers to rephrase entire sentences. There’s an additional similarity checker to prevent plagiarism and coax students to properly cite their content.
